"Can you say tenacious?
I hope so, because when this lady says she is working for you,
she means it. My wife and I were first time home buyers and were
under a deadline. We had to find a home for my wife, myself and
our three daughters, and we had one month to locate, finance and
close on a house we could live with.
Audrey pretty much dropped everything else she was doing and got
us to see a lot of homes in three days. We narrowed it down to
three homes and went back to see them again with our daughters
in tow. After our second viewing, we decided on a home and placed
a bid which was accepted. Here is where the fun begins and Audrey
came through with flying colors.
We were working on a VA loan and that brings about some extra
requirements. Audrey made sure we had all the numbers for inspectors
and continued to keep communications open between us, the sellers
and their agent. When the appraiser completed his work, the home
didn't appraise at the selling price, so the paperwork had to be
changed and agreed upon quickly. Audrey had the papers and info
on the seller's agents desk the next morning. Our finance company
lost all of our originals, asked a lot of stupid questions and
generally became a major stumbling block for us reaching closing.
Between faxing these items three to four times and Audrey keeping
a very strong fire going under her contact at the mortgage company,
we finally made it to closing.
I can unconditionally say without Audrey's professional, courteous
and dogged ability to get to the bottom of problems, we would not
